Tummy Tuck with Fat Transfer after weight loss in Tucson, AZ*

This is a 29 year old mother of one from Tucson, Arizona that came to Rao Plastic Surgery to discuss a tummy tuck and Brazillian Butt Lift. She had put on weight after having her child but had lost eighty pounds through diet and exercise alone. She was done having children and her weight had been stable for several months. She did not like the excess skin in her abdomen that she developed after pregnancy and from weight loss. She was also interested in improving the contour of her buttock. With her weight loss she had lost fullness in the upper pole of her buttock. We had discussed options for body contouring and she was interested in doing a combined Brazilian Butt Lift and tummy tuck with liposuction. I started her procedure by performing circumferential liposuction of her abdomen, flanks, and back. The fat that was harvested from liposuction was then transferred to her buttocks to create a more aesthetic shape. Once we completed the Brazilian butt lift she was repositioned for the tummy tuck portion of her surgery. During the tummy tuck excess skin was removed, and her muscles were tightened. Her recovery from surgery was uneventful. She is now 6 months out from her surgery. She loves her new curves and how her figure reflects her new body after her weight loss.
