Breast Augmentation, wanting upper pole volume in Tucson, AZ*

This is a 39 year old mother of four that came to Rao Plastic Surgery from northern Arizona. She was in between an A and a B cup size and was interested in being a full D cup. She had breast fed her children and felt she had lost a significant amount of volume from breastfeeding. During our initial consultation I learned that she felt that she was specifically lacking upper pole volume. After examining her and taking measurements, I noted she did not have any sagging or ptosis of her breasts, which is uncommon in women who have had multiple children and have breastfed. She tried on a variety of implant sizers and she liked the appearance 450 cc implants. Using our biodimensional measurements, I agreed the 450 cc size implants would work well with her base width. With her desire to have upper pole fullness I felt that round implants would work best to fill in the upper pole. Her surgery was performed in an outpatient surgery center in Tucson, Arizona. Using an inframammary incision, a submuscular pocket was created for the implants. Mentor Memory gel 450 cc smooth round moderate profile plus implants were placed behind the muscle using a Keller funnel. She tolerated the surgery well. Her recovery was uneventful. She is now seven months out from her breast augmentation and loves her results!
