Breast Augmentation in Tucson, AZ*

This is a 46-year-old woman from Vail, Arizona who set up a consultation at Rao Plastic Surgery to discuss a breast augmentation. She had been wearing C-cup bras and was hoping to be around a D-cup after her augmentation. On exam she had good quality breast tissue with no masses or sagging. I recommended a submuscular breast augmentation with smooth, round, silicone implants. She used implant sizers placed in her bra in front of her breasts to help her choose her desired implant size. In addition to the sizers, she looked at different sized implants using our simulation software. She decided on 415 cc implants and I recommended a high-profile implant to achieve her aesthetic goals. She underwent surgery at a surgery center in Tucson. Using the Keller Funnel, I placed 415 cc Mentor MemoryGel Xtra high profile silicone implants beneath the muscle through an incision in the inframammary fold. She was sat up in surgery and appeared to have good symmetry. She did well postoperatively and had a smooth recovery. She has had her implants for two months now and is very happy with how her breasts look.
